Performance features of the GPC module ‘EZProcess’
(Short description)

1. Preface/problem
A complete execution and analysis of shipment processes and their cost can only be done centrally in case every shipment relevant process is represented with the SAP system.
Specifically for the purpose of processing the automatic credit memo procedure all relevant transports ought to be correctly (freight-) calculated in the system.
Make sure goods receipts are not only being processed from a materials management point of view (inventory maintenance) – also take care shipment relevant informations are being entered so the appropriate documents (delivery and shipment) get generated automatically from the system.

2. Solution
By selecting the function for registration of deliveries/goods, you can enter and even directly process shipment organization tasks and/or tasks that are relevant for freight with one single entry screen. In order to define outward movements and recipience the users do not have to necessarily revert to SAP master data, since addresses can be entered freely.
An additional functionality "goods receipt processing" comes along with an entry screen that will read and propose all relevant data after a user has declared the corresponding SAP order. A user can assume those data or modify where appropriate (weights, packing, incoterms, carrier,...).
With its next step the system will automatically generate a delivery, initialize goods receipt posting and create – in case this was desired – an appropriate shipment. Furthermore it is possible to automatically assign freights to an account and even add a freights part to a material price and to a raw value of materials.

3. Procedure
A user will enter every shipment and/or freight relevant information for a particular process to an entry screen. In case of a goods receipt processing the corresponding data are being automatically proposed along with the SAP order selected.
The system then generates deliveries to be booked to a shipment immediately or to be processed during shipment scheduling later on.Hence every relevant document is available in the system and can be utilized with freight processing accordingly.
